Herb Weinberg, an Olympic historian and former commentator for ABC Radio Sports Networks, shares 100 favorite anecdotes from his coverage of 14 Winter and Summer Olympic Games. Herb gives us his take on the athletes, the games and the politics involved. He has recorded his personal behind-the scenes experiences and gives readers a rare glimpse of world-class athletes as they expose their humanity.

He is a member of the International Society of Olympic Historians and has covered the affairs of the International Olympic Committee and the United States Olympic Committee on six continents for ABC Radio Sports Networks and publications ranging from the New York Times to the Times of London. He is also the author of dozens of magazine articles. Herb broke the story on the Ben Johnson scandal at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul.

A native of Philadelphia, he currently resides in Colorado Springs. He obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Oregon.
